Our rooms cater for ages 0 - 3 years+. Close liaison between rooms ensure children enjoy a smooth and happy transition when they move to a different room.
In the cosy bumblebee room exceptional care is offered to babies aged from three months until two years. The high standards of care and hygiene practice support the personal care needs of babies and toddlers. We acknowledge that each child is unique and have their own routines and these are closely followed in ducklings to ensure consistency from home to nursery, for the babies. Practitioners are highly skilled and sensitive in helping babies form secure emotional attachments and positive partnerships are established with parents.
Caterpillar room offers superb care and education for children aged between two and three years. In the caterpillar room there is a strong focus on the prime areas of learning. The room is welcoming and cosy and well equipped to support the children attending. A wide variety of play materials are easily accessible to the children who are encouraged to self select and make choices for themselves. A nappy changing facility is positioned within the room and children are also made extremely comfortable within the playroom at sleep time ensuring the least disruption for them. Children are able to rest on comfortable beds with fresh bed linen and soothers as required. Soft lighting and music, along with practitioners reassurance helps encourage uninterrupted sleep.
The preschool is available for children aged three to five years split into three areas that have direct access to the main garden and to an exclusive, superb decking area that is tree lined and parallel to the local nature trail creating a wonderful outdoor play space.
