Children at Butterfly Barns have access to an abundance of interesting activities throughout their time at nursery. The children learn through daily exciting and challenging activities, songs and social times with their peers.

We offer dance lessons delivered by an outside agency called Tappy Toes. This gives the children the chance to explore music and movement, as well as allowing children to have fun, and burn off some energy. This is also a great social experience for children to share positive and fun experiences with their peers and work together as a team.

We also can take all children on nature walks as we are lucky enough to be situated next to glorious woodland. This gives children the opportunity to explore the great outdoors, and engage in Forest-based activities, from nature crafting to den building! We also are close enough to go to our local duck ponds and play park to engage the children in fun physical activity. This allows the children to build a great understanding of their local community, and make links into where they live. We even go to our local green grocer to choose new fruits to try, and pick our flowers to plant in our garden.
